My new non-profit raises funds to give grants to rescues and individuals to offset the cost of spay/neuter and extraordinary medical expenses ( think your dog get hit by a car) We are planning a motorcycle poker run this summer.  We want a cool name.  one that will attract alot of attention ( in a good way)  Currently Hawgs for Dawgs – which we think is a bit boring.  It could be cheeky, it could be double entendre-y, but we would like it not to be boring.  And since we give grants for any animal — not just dogs, it would be great if it could somehow indicate that… but we mainly do dogs and cats so it could be something focusing on just dogs ( if we have to pick one – we’d go with a dog theme – no offense intended cat peeps).  It can also bring the two elements: bikes and animals, together like ruff riders and bikers for barkers – other names we’ve seen that we didn’t find particularly inspiring…..That said, we are open to any cool funky name that would attract attention because while boring, we could call it “funky name” poker run – benefitting aarf pa.  Can you help a dog out?

    Top Dog
    Low Down Dirty Dog
    HawgHound

    WheelHound

    Queen Bitch  (would Bowie mind?)

    Speuter  (spay + neuter?)   ;)-

And for what it’s worth- I like Hawgs For Dawgs. It’s memorable (fun to see/say), and short yet immediately communicates the primary aspects of the fundraiser. Is/will this be an annual fundraising event? Any feedback from the community/participants about the current name? To build event-brand equity behind one awesome name is paws-down the way to go.
