We are going to be selling fried pies and pulled pork from a truck in Hawaii; we like the name “Tin Roof Pie Co.” with its homey connotations, but it is a little long, and there is already a “Tin Shack Bakery” here. We don’t want to be tied to “BBQ” theme as we expand, so we’d rather not put it in the name. Any ideas or feedback? Thanks!!!

I like Tin Roof Pie Co., but I also understand your wish to shorten & differentiate (and keep name open to future menu expansion).

Thanks! I like Hot Tin too, and Hang Tin has a definite Hawaii vibe. There is a real cowboy culture in our town (the Hawaiian name for cowboy is Paniolo). So we could slant towards a chuckwagon kind of theme too? We have also thrown around “Eat Pie”, “Pie Love” and “Pie & Salt”. Don’t want to be so trendy that it sounds dated in a few years…
