Don’t get hung-up on having an exact-match .com domain name, or you’ll likely never end up with a name, or at least a good name. Focus on developing a strong brand name, and if you have to use a modifier for the domain, like _____ip.com, for example. Remember, for the first 10 or so years of it’s life, Tesla was not found at tesla.com, but teslamotors.com, and they are a major brand. If a modifier worked for them, it can work for any company.
