Hi all, I’m looking for suggestions for a company name / domain for a company that provides competitive intelligence information to clients…that helps that clients with their own SEO, SEM, email, social strategies etc etc. Not something too overt like “spy” or “espionage” (even though it is not) but something more “corporate” since most of my clients will be mid-large size companies.
Thanks in advance!

BTW, as a few days have passed by and I have obviously been thinking about this a whole lot. I am trying to see if we can incorporate business growth into the mix as well…since the whole point of acquiring competitive intelligence is to help you better your business. Would love any suggestions with that angle as well.
Also, I came up with Xlerate the other day. It’s missing the competitive intelligence piece but I can play off “Xlerate Informed Decisions” as my slogan and gives me more flexibility if I were to broaden the scope of the business to other services as well. Would love to get everyone’s feedback on that name as well.
Thank you all!

One way to do the ‘growth’ angle is to add a tagline, for example:
Company name | Know more, grow more
Asking a single name to do multiple things is almost always a mistake. Make the name memorable then add a tagline as a descriptor.
As for Xlerate….it doesn’t do it for me (sorry) but that’s just a personal thing (conjures up X-rated for me rather than accelerate)

Thanks Chris. Points noted. Yeah, I agree with you about not combining competitive intelligence and the growth. With Xlerate I was basically doing what you suggested but the other way around. Xlerate would only be about business growth but the tag line “Xlerate Informed Deicsions” adds the competitive intelligence piece.
Thanks for your opinion about the stand alone name “Xlerate” as well. Much appreciated.
Please keep ’em coming ya’ll! This is really helpful.
