I co-manage an organization that utilizes the power of sharing on social media or more specifically our facebook page to help people who are in need of a kidney transplant find a living donor match. We are filing our 501c3 in the near future and are wanting to change our name first.
Currently we have nearly 30,000 followers on our facebook community page that we will share a touching story along with a photo of someone searching for a match. The individual in the photo holds a posterboard sign that communicates their need in one sentence then has the relevant information the potential donor would need to be tested as their match. We intend to do much more in the future and we will be giving money to research, prevention, possibly starting some assistance programs, provide resources to patient and donors, etc and our main goal is to promote living kidney donation.
I’m stumped on a name but some key words I liked are as follows:
kidney, living, donor, match, social, link, organization, american, transplant, link, life, give, share
Our website will have a .org name and I am interested in utilizing a new top level domain name. The ones I like are as follows:

…the tagline is easy enough to change (tho i like), but if not overly condescending or something, What We Bring could be very brandable. When you dig into it, it’s really praising the donor and it’s the donor you’re targeting (the person in need is motivated already). If you’re not a scam, then wishing you all the power in the world!

Right away though, even if you are only considering the name you should secure the .org/.com domains for an initial year. It’s very inexpensive to register vs. having to buy from someone

I received a very nice PM last night from findkidneydonor, have seen their fb-page and I’ll give them my Looks-legit stamp right now.
And what do you know – he loves the We Bring It name (…ship it!)
However, what do you know – he has one major concern…
[From findkidneydonor]…The only objection that might come up is that people can’t tell from the title that our focus is on kidney donation. If it indicated we do something for specifically kidneys is something that was important when we discussed changing the name. Thoughts?
My short response is to direct one to Snark’s manifesto (http://www.zinzin.com/naming-branding-manifesto/) and let Snark come in here and mop-up with the sweet/short panache of why this is an opportunity, point out that Virgin not only flies only virgins, Starbucks was once a character in Moby Dick, etc.
…However, I just cruised a Forbes list of the top 50 non-profits (http://www.forbes.com/top-charities/) and I will point out there’s a fairly universal tendency in these charitable names to generally describe their service/mission/etc.
We’ll see what Snark has to say on the matter (worth the ticket price) and in the meantime let’s flow some new ideas, as well as responses to We Bring It, all the committee-decision concerns included, etc.
This is the type of project we all want to assist in moving forward. I’ll be back in 8 hours or so (i’m sailing in the langerhans;), so let’s help this organization fly – Bring it!

…and i assume you rats have figured out What We Bring is suggestive to what we bring to the table (ala, the operating table).
Is that too crazy here, or is it a positive? What are people’s thoughts? I say it’s a positive and speaks to that deep psyche which flatters the potential donor, but I am as crazy as a fox, so the suits might want to reel this back (not sure)

I agree with quark: What We Bring (…to the table) is perfect!
With a name like that, you can absolutely go with a descriptive tagline, which Franny nailed: Living Kidney Donation. Together, you beging to get something like this:
