    Hi Everyone,

My fine art gallery is called Lacewood Gallery. I am thinking of changing it to Lacewood Fine Art but I’m not sure.

I would like your feedback on the name. Do you like it? And does the fine art alternative come across as pretentious?

    Thank you in advance 🙂

In my opinion, Lacewood Fine Art sounds more formal, more expensive, more upscale but not “pretentious” whereas Lacewood Gallery sounds more generic, perhaps lesser quality, less expensive. You need to decide who you want to reach specifically as potential customers over the long run. To me, “Gallery” says a more general audience and “Fine Art” says  more specific. I personally like Lacewood Fine Art if that’s the route you want to go.

I concur with @van-helsing. And if you wanted to ground it more in the fine are world, you could call it

    Lacewood Projects
