I’m looking to start up a social/support goup for people currently undergoing or waiting to undergo fertility treatment in my area (Auckland, NZ). I want the group to be casual and light hearted, somewhere where people can find friendship and support from others who understand and who have been through similar.
I’m guessing the group will predominantly be women although I don’t want a too-girly name as I don’t want to exclude the blokes. The meetups will be geared towards those who are still childless, although there might be a sub-group for those who already have been successful and are trying to conceive again.
Any ideas for names? Something catchy, maybe humourous? The only thing I can think of is ‘parents in waiting’ but I don’t think I like that! I wondered about using the letters from the acronym IVF but can’t think of anything suitable.
