Product Names

Public Group active 3 hours, 44 minutes ago

You’ve worked long hours and spend a lot of money developing a killer product — make sure you give it a name that will propel it out in the world, not let it get pushed to the back of the shelf. Post requests for product names as new topics in Forum for this group.

Hello ppl. I am setting up my own bottled water business and can’t seem to be able to come up with a good name. I’m hoping you can help me with that :) . Hopefully one of you will see your recommendation on the label of my product and when you take your grandkids to the supermarket years from now, you can tell them how you helped name the (then) famous water :D … sound good?! Excellent…
I am considering names that have something to do with aqua. or spring, or creek, or mountain but I am also interested in names that are a bit different i.e. DRENCH(the water from Britvic). Absolutely any kind of name you can think of is very welcome. Thank you.
And just so you know I’m not selling mineral water.

If it’s not mineral water, what is your promise/USP that will make people buy this water rather than just turn on the tap?

    On Tap
    Flood

@ chris : The water in my city is not very clean. I am selling purified water. The other major brands in the market are Pure Life(Nestle), Aquafina(Pepsi) and Kinley (Coke) and ALL of these are bottled from public water sources (I believe Nestle adds a few minerals after purification). There are lots of other smaller brands (a very few mineral) but their product isn’t very good especially the name and label/Image etc.
I am trying to build a brand with a nice name and good packaging and brand image. I live in Pakistan and over here there is limited knowledge of non-mineral bottled water. It is assumed that all the water is mineral.

Thanks, Usman, that’s very helpful….it also make both my earlier suggestions inappropriate.

    Crystal
    Freshh
    Blitz
    Quench

@rogere : H2Oh! sounds nice. But I’m really not sure if most of my target audience will be able to get it. A lot of friends and family have been recommending just H2O which up till now is the top contender.

@chris : Blitz is more around the region im looking at, but it might be more suitable for an energy drink i believe. Now Quench sounds promising.
    Anything else guys?
