Hi all,

I’m in need of some input as I’m driving myself crazy. As a hobby I make cards but I have so many that I have decided to set up a store on Etsy and Ebid to try and make a bit of money out of my hobby. I am having trouble coming up with a name though. Initially I decided on using Sierry Cards. Sierry being a combination of the end of my childrens names, RoSIE and HaRRY. However I’m not sure I want to use cards at the end as I may want to sell other papercraft items, and there is a company called Sierra Crafts which I felt was bit close for comfort.

I cant decide whether to use a complete abstract name which isnt related to papercrafting like Pink Panda (in use already). I have also thought of using something implying paper like Rainbow Forest but that seems very common. As I mentioned before I had thought about a mixup using my childrens names or even some of their favourite colours and things – Pink Digger for example but not sure this would age well. I’m not sure whether I should have something like papergoods at end. I suppose I could omit this in the urls and use in tagline.

At moment I am open to all suggestions, so long as not in use and I can also use as a blog name.

Any suggestions people can provide will be gratefully received as I really need to get going asap.

What kind of personality and tone do you want to convey? Are you more ‘Pink Panda’ or more ‘Evergreen Papercraft’?

i am having similar problem. i have been doing scrapbooking for 8 years and I called it shoebox memories but have recently been making more cards and been selling them to friends so I want to have a name… the one I liked I found a lot of companies with the same name… I love the word serendipity
