I am looking for an unusual name for a tour company. It needs to be memorable and funny. There is a tour company in Portugal called We Hate Tourism Tours.. This sounds ridiculous, but there point is they offer people the ‘real’ Portugal. You are taken round by a friend rather than some bored tour guide with a green flag and an umbrella or a tacky tour bus.

I challenge anyone to think of a more genius name than that (which I wish I could have thought of). We are small, independent and completely different to other tour companies in our city. We are not a Portuguese company. We are actually based in Britian, but I’m not sure we want a British reference in the name. Any help or assistance with this odd request would be very, very gratefully received.

I’d go with Detour (nod to Rogere – @vanhelsing) — gets across the “tour” bit, but also that your tours go off the beaten track.
