Hello I am lloking for a name for a business selling silver jewellery and rings and bracelets made from diamond look alike materials (cubics) – would apprecite your creativity – I sell to the upmarket customer who likes to look shiny and bling and gorgeous everyday

hummm…I think this is a wonderful misusage of the word ‘upmarket’. People who want to pretend that they have stuff that they can’t actually afford are not upmarket.

Truly upmarket people do not want to ‘look shiny and bling’, they want to look quietly understated whilst wearing incredibly high-quality (and very costly) genuine precious metals and stones.
