I’m going to try again as I didn’t put a title on my new thread and then wondered why I got no suggestions!!

I’m looking for a name for a company I’m starting that will be supplying orthopaedic bracing (orthoses) in the UK. It needs to be unique and eye-catching but not whacky or humourous as I will be dealing with clients in the medial profession.

The initial emphasis will be on spinal bracing but I may diversify in future so don’t want it too specific.

The first product is going to be a really excellent modular spinal bracing system, but as I mentioned in my original post, I may diversify, so I don’t want a product-specific company name.

The main selling point will be a custom fit while the patient waits.

I came up with one I quite like last night – Cymortho Services. I live in Wales, and the welsh for ‘support’ is ‘cymorth’. Do you like it? It has an added twist – the Welsh for Wales is Cymru – shortened to CYM on number plates. Very patriotic!

However, I really like Metamorthose and Orthos. Nice ones Chris and QQ.

My observation about Cymortho is that, outside Wales, few will get the allusion. This may or may not matter of course. As a name – even without knowing the hook – it works fine.

Yes, that had crossed my mind – I really like Metamorthosis – a slight tweak on your excellent suggestion!
