Hey guys. New the site, but already infatuated with it. (Hope I’m posting in the right category though).
I’m a freelance writer trying to come up with a name for a blog I’m starting–one that’ll review coffee houses with a hint of nerdiness. It’s a side project meant to showcase my writing while indulging in a passion (the search for the cafe with that perfect combination of ambiance and coffee to take the edge off the writer’s block.)
It’ll be a blog heavy on the quirky voice, a bit ironic, but never mean. I’ll be throwing in a fair bit of science in between the reviews, getting into the biochemistry behind the coffee taste, and perhaps even the mess of ologies that the coffee industry encompasses (eco/politico/socio/agro…). It’ll be based in the Boston and New England area.
I’m aiming for a shorter name, something just one to two words long ideally–though most of my ideas so far have failed to fit that rubric so far.
Things I have thought:
- Working in Perkatory (since Perkatory was taken)
- Grounds for Coherence
- Prefontal Buzz (don’t like this one so much, but I jotted it down anyway_
- Wired in Boston
… ?? Ideas?
