Company Names

Public Group active 6 hours, 22 minutes ago

The name of your company should make a sudden impact, be memorable, and create buzz. If not, prepare to be eaten alive by the other companies that know how to brand themselves.

Post requests for company names as new topics in the Forum for this group.

So I need to develop a name for a consulting company that provides media support (including social media, marketing), physician practice management, strategic planning and discussion facilitation services and personal lifestyle management (shopping, relocation of physicians specifically). Anyway, my last name is Cork so I was thinking Stopper Client Services with tagline Don’t let anything stop you…

but does Stopper sound negative? I need other ideas…the clients are coming in and I need to file my LLC paperwork….yesterday.

    thx

I am assuming you are a consulting co. for physicians only…

    Physician Management Services (PMS)
Physician Consultation & Management Services (PCMS)
Physician Strategic Planning & Management Co. (PSPMC)

Tag: Your Practice Is What We Preach.

The link between ‘cork’ and ‘stopper’ is one that you understand, but that few if any of your prospects will get; it is, therefore, a bad idea – a classic example of ‘inside looking out’ rather than ‘outside looking in’.

…and, yes, it has strong negative connotations as well.

The point Rogere makes is a good one; are you just appealing to physicians?

Finally, if you had to sum up the one biggest benefit you offer your target audience, what would it be?

No name ideas yet, but a possible tagline:

‘Putting the fizz back in physician’

thanks so much- I like both of the taglines very much and the honest feedback about inside looking out is much appreciated. I’ve worked with mostly physicians so far but a couple of wives as well in terms of personal branding, charity selection, network development etc. I’ve also done some wardrobing for a couple of busy professionals, but mostly physicians.

chris- I neglected to answer your question, the biggest benefit we offer clients is managing the business of being a physician. they graduate as medical doctors, not MBA’s and generally have no desire (or knowledge that prepares them) to set up, run or grow a practice.
