some favourite words are more favorite words

Some of my favourite words have been around for centuries, like smellfungus, which has been so critically disagreeable for all these years that it has hardly seen the light of day.

Others of my favorite words are so new that they aren't in any dictionary yet, like nincompute, which is someone who's a complete idiot when it comes to computers. Everyone knows one.

Some say a word is a word if it's in the dictionary. I say, it's a word if it's found on the Internet by Google, which is, perhaps, my most favorite word of all.

What are your favorite words?

I have many favourites in moi's multi-lingual vocabulary (as opposed to others' techno-literacy, whatever!):

From the Celtic Irish:
-"Pogue Mahone" ...which sounds like a greeting but means, "Kiss Me Arse"
-"Slainte" ... which means "Your Health!", when met by anyone else!

From the French:
Merde...which translates somehow to "Shit" (It's like those French have a different word for everything!, according to Steve Martin!")

From the Cantonese:
Ay-Yah! - which apparently means "Oh, My God!" or so I am told!

Of the Yiddish Gesprocken:

Geschecktigezeucht..which is what Mike Meyers as Linda Richman on SNL always says for "not vell, not feeling myself!"
Ferklempt...even more overcome ...talk amongst ourselves...I'll give you a tawpic....
"Do You think that if Russia Invaded Turkey from the rear that Greece would help?" Discuss!
Feigele! (It's Pride Week, after all!)

From the Italian: "Attente Al Cane!"...Watch Out for your own Dog"

From the Spanish: "Dos Cervezos, Por Favor!(2 Mexican Beers With Toilets nearby, if you please!)

From German: "Ausgeszeichnet!"...which Means "Excellent!"

From Hindu, etc: "Namaste"...which means, "My spirit speaks to your spirit" or something akin!

From Cree: (language of the Western Plains Native Peoples) "Moni-Aw", which directly translates as the name for White-Tailed Deer, or "White-Asses"!

And, of course, my very favourite English Language Words:
-Whatever
-As if
-Like
-So Bogus
-Ok, I do have a teenager in the house...As If, like, you don't...Whatever...This is all so Bogus!!!
